What is the Applied Materials Contract Talent Network?
The Applied Materials Contract Talent Network, also known as our Extended Workforce Network, connects individuals to current and future contract (temporary) opportunities supporting Applied Materials’ manufacturing, production, and operational teams.
By joining the network, you will be considered for roles that align with your skills, experience, and availability as opportunities arise.
What is Contract Work?
Contract work is a temporary assignment where individuals are hired to work at Applied Materials for a specific length of time. These roles often support manufacturing operations, equipment support, production, and related functions.
Depending on business needs and performance, assignments may be extended. In some cases, contract workers may have the opportunity to apply for full-time roles with Applied Materials.
What Contract / Extended Workforce Roles Look Like at Applied Materials
Contract workers are employed and paid by Raise, a partner in Applied Materials’ contract workforce program. Assignments are performed on-site at an Applied Materials manufacturing or office location, where day-to-day work is directed by an Applied Materials supervisor, including guidance on priorities, tasks, and performance expectations.
Your Employment with Raise
As a contract worker, you are an employee of Raise. Raise is responsible for all employment-related matters, including payroll and assignment administration.
